Like the rest of the range, it features the MMPII bass driver but this time, in the form of an 8” cone, which subsequently means bigger bass! The tweeter of choice is, of course, Monitor Audio’s Gold Dome. The main difference between the C180 and the C180-T2 is the T2's extra tweeter driver, allowing for an improved top end, which means more detail and clarity in the sound. The 1” tweeters can pivot to allow you to position them most effectively and to make the most out of the C180-T2 as a home cinema speaker. The C180T2 can handle 180w of power, meaning you will be able to watch action movies loud and feel as if you are there. The 3 position tri-grip dog fixings (clamping system) saves you 25% time when installing, compared to the standard four-dogleg system. The Monitor Audio C180T2 is also splash and humidity resistant which makes them all the more robust.
