The 2000 series is yet another range from Q Acoustics that pushes the limits of affordable HiFi and home cinema speakers. Renowned for their superb value for money, Q Acoustics speakers are a great way to enter home cinema and stereo without breaking the bank. The 2010 bookshelf speakers are part of the new range and swiftly picked up an award in What HiFi magazine’s awards issue 2009 shortly after release for ‘best stereo speakers up to £150’.
Q Acoustics’ goal with the 2000 series was to create the best affordable speaker range ever produced. The Q Acoustics 2010 bookshelf speakers use components that are bespoke to the speaker to allow it to optimise performance and deliver the highest quality sound with incredibly low distortion for a more natural sound.
The 2010 bookshelf speakers boast the same excellent, low distortion, ferro-fluid cooled, tweeter found in the rest of the range. To avoid cabinet resonance, the tweeter is isolated from the front baffle and, to further reduce distortion, its advanced 25mm micro polyester weave dome is ventilated both on the surround and on the dome itself. This reduces distortion by helping the tweeter maintain mechanical integrity by restricting the range of temperatures it endures.
It’s official. The Q Acoustics 2010 bookshelf speakers perform exceptionally well with either stereo or multi-channel. They also look the part. Their discrete styling makes them ideal for rooms where visual intrusion must be kept to a minimum. Available in a choice of four finishes and complete with removable grilles, you are sure to find the right 2010 speaker for you.
